Find Chideock Grange Cottages Dorset

Chideock is on the A35 between Bridport & Charmouth. In Chideock turn off the A35 at the Church. Continue to the end of the lane (approx. one mile) and turn right at ‘T’ junction. After 200 yards fork right into Hell Lane (so named due to the footings of an Hellenic / Ancient Greek temple from 700B.C. reputed to be located in an adjacent field).. Chideock Grange is the last property on the right.

The Jurassic Coast

The nearest beach is only two miles away, part of the beautiful Jurassic coast which was recently filmed in the ITV Drama Broadchurch. It is a pleasant walk from Chideock Grange across the fields to Seatown, via Chideock. There are many miles of delightful footpaths to explore, including the fine coastal path with its breathtaking views.

Places of interest near Chideock Grange Holiday Cottages, Bridport

Within a few minutes drive is the old rope-making town of Bridport with its harbour of West Bay offering boating and sea fishing. In the opposite direction are the well known holiday haunts of Charmouth and Lyme Regis.

There are many other attractions within easy reach, including Dorchester, Weymouth and Portland Bill, Bovington with its famous Tank Museum, the Swannery and gardens at Abbotsbury, children’s entertainment at Crealy and Monkey World, and a host of fine houses and gardens open to the public.
